Resource Program Teacher
In the fall of 2006, Saint Thomas School launched a new initiative to hire a Resource Program Teacher. This teacher works in collaboration with parents, classroom teachers, Christian Learning Center Network (CLC), public school special education services, and volunteers to provide special educational opportunities to students with special needs within the least restrictive environment. Through this program we make every attempt to include students in the regular classroom with the support of the Resource Teacher. To the extent necessary and possible, resource services are made available to individuals and small groups of students within the Resource Room.
