Athletics
Saint Thomas the Apostle School is part of the 25-school Grand Rapids Area Catholic Elementary Athletic Council (GRACEAC). Through GRACEAC, Saint Thomas offers a comprehensive sports program for both boys and girls in the 5th-8th grades.
The Saint Thomas Athletic Program is an important part of our school program that develops sportsmanship, responsibility, commitment, and teamwork. All games begin with prayer led by the home team. What a wonderful way to bring God in to the center of all we do!
Each season our sports schedules are posted as soon as they are made available, however, revisions are often made after we receive the schedules, so please check with the school or your child's coach if you have any questions or visit the GRACEAC website.
Physicals are held each year during the end of May. More
details are posted in late spring when the date is set. High school students
may bring their forms and receive physicals at Saint Thomas. All Saint Thomas
athletes must have a current physical on file before they may participate
in any athletics (including practices). A refundable uniform deposit is
also required before an athlete is issued any uniforms. The deposit is held
for the entire year and is good for each sport the athlete plays.
